The Client:
The Cley Bird Club was founded in 1986 by Eddie Myers with the purpose of communicating bird news from the area amongst local birders. The first newsletter was produced in April of that year and distributed to 75 founding members. Since then the membership has grown to well over 450 households from all over the country.The Cley Bird Club bring together people who enjoy birding in the Cley Square on the North Norfolk coast. They are dedicated to watching and recording the birdlife of the Cley area, Norfolk, England.
The Brief:
Cley Bird Club contacted us to discuss modernising and optimising their current website for bird watchers in the Cley community. The old website was built and hosted on an old school ASP.net framework, which made editing and any minor additions a really difficult process. They wanted something that was easy to use, easy to update, and easy to manage. This is when we knew we would be building the website on WordPress.
