The Client:
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority is a combined authority covering the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire in the East of England. The authority is led by the directly elected Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This website is the digital home of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Transport.
The Brief:
The CPCA invited us to tender for a project that would be the new home of all things transport across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We agreed on the overall shape of the micro site website work, which was to rebrand a generic local authority public transport website with a first phase design with a basic set of features. This design was to be future proofed and become the working template to finesse into a more detailed phase two to include information relating to bus/rail timetables, a journey planner showing routes and travel options, demand responsive travel information, active travel information (e-bikes, e-scooters, bikes etc.), general public transport travel and a hub for customer service.
